Golden Elaeagnus

It is a dense slightly spiny, evergreen shrub. Grows 10-15ft. high and wide. It can be made lower and denser by pruning and can be made into a hedge.

Has grayish green 1-3in. long leaves that have wavy margins and brown tinting from rusty dots on the underside. The branches are also covered by these rusty dots. Produces oval fruit half inch long, red with silver dust.
