Elaeagnus pungens 'Maculata' (el-ee-AG-nus PUN-jenz Maculata) Golden Elaeagnus It is a dense slightly spiny, evergreen shrub. Grows 10-15ft. high and wide. It can be made lower and denser by pruning and can be made into a hedge. Has grayish green 1-3in. long leaves that have wavy margins and brown tinting from rusty dots on the underside.
